Thank you to everyone who attended our Easter craft afternoon. It was great to see both children and parents working together to create their egg, they were all eggcellent. Photos will be posted shortly- thank you again.
Here are some photos of our Year 1 children running a mile for Sport Relief. The children were all fantastic and extremely enthusiastic to complete the challenge. Thank you to everyone who donated, as a school we raised an amazing £ 581.00.
In Year One last half term we were very lucky to interview our very own Polar Region explorer Mrs Newton. Mrs Newton went to Antarctica for 6 weeks and shared her experiences with the Year 1 children, telling them lots of interesting facts. The children had prepared some insightful questions to ask Mrs Newton about her trip and really enjoyed listening to her answers. Finally the children got to try on some of the kit Mrs Newton wore to keep her warm in the harsh weather conditions. Thank you Mrs Newton for telling us all about your exciting trip!
We’ve had a great start to the term and have been working very hard. Please visit our page regularly to see what we have been learning… Pictures of the retro disco to follow!!

Welcome back!! We would love to hear if you did anything exciting over the Christmas holidays.
We have had a fantastic first week back, settling into our routine and enjoying learning about our new Polar topic.
We have been reading and performing lots of different polar poems which we have really enjoyed and we have even written our own! We can’t wait to learn more about the Polar Regions and all the different animals that live there.
